Your state just switched to Metrc. We live in seed-to-sale daily.

The dispensaries our own team operates run on CannAgent in production — disclosed as ours — where state traceability reporting is the spine of the product, not a checkbox. We’re not live in New York yet; this page is the honest version of that sentence.

The New York problem

OCM rules are register rules.

New York rebuilt its traceability regime in September 2025 and rebuilt its tax structure in June 2024. Here’s where the rules actually stand, sourced from the state’s own pages:

New York moved to Metrc in September 2025.

Every licensee re-credentialed out of BioTrack into a new track-and-trace regime. A POS that treats seed-to-sale as a bolt-on breaks exactly here — we live inside seed-to-sale reporting every day in our own stores.

The tax stack has two tiers and a trap.

Retail taxes totaling 13% on the sale — a 9% state arm plus a 4% local arm allocated by store address — with a separate 9% distributor tax upstream that belongs in cost basis, never on a receipt.

Medical runs on entirely different rails.

The medical excise is 3.15% on the registered organization’s gross receipts — imposed on the organization, and by statute it cannot appear as a line item on a receipt. Register software has to know that, not approximate it.

Where we actually are

CannAgent launches state-by-state.

Right now we're live in Washington only. Other states roll in once we've validated the compliance frame for each one (track-and-trace adapter, regulator citations, BAA shape). We'll email you when your state opens.

Joining the list costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You get one email when New York opens — and if you want to see the working product on Washington’s rules before then, the demo is real and yours to poke at.
