Maine’s rules — the OCP’s Metrc reporting for adult use and the cannabis sales tax that changed January 1, 2026 — are researched from the state’s own pages and statute and coded into the register. CannAgent in Maine is for adult-use (21+) sales only; a medical sale is refused at the register until the written-certification flow is built. The register does the tax math at the sale. Metrc reporting is not connected yet.
