Accessibility
What we have measured about this site, what we have not, and how to tell us if something here stopped you. This is a self-assessment, not an audit, and it is written to be specific enough that you can tell which is which.
Where we stand
cannagent.ai is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant is the accurate term: parts of the site have been measured and fixed, and parts have not been assessed at all. We would rather say that than claim a level we have not tested for.
This statement covers the public marketing site. The admin portal behind sign-in is a separate surface and is not covered here.
What we have measured
- A “Skip to content” link is the first thing you reach by keyboard, and the element it points at exists on the page. Both halves matter: a link whose target is missing silently does nothing. Focused, it measures 7.99:1.
- Small grey text clears 4.5:1 on every dark backing it sits on, and that floor is enforced by a test rather than a review. The faintest tier measures 4.67:1 against the lightest surface and above 5:1 against the page background — computed against the colours actually painted, not an assumed black.
- In October 2026 a stale stylesheet meant the site was serving older, lower-contrast values than the ones in the code. That is fixed, and the corrected values were re-checked in the served stylesheet afterwards — reading the deployed CSS rather than trusting the build.
- Pages declare a language, carry a single top-level heading, and place their content in a main landmark.
- Interactive diagrams announce their structure: the workflow stages are an ordered list rather than loose items, which an ARIA role had been silently overriding.
What has not been tested
This is the section most statements leave out, which is why it is worth being plain about. Automated checks reach a minority of the WCAG success criteria — they are good at contrast, names and roles, and blind to whether a page makes sense in use.
- No manual screen-reader pass (VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS).
- No independent or third-party evaluation. Every measurement above is our own.
- Not every public route has been scanned individually; specific fixes have been applied across the site, which is not the same thing.
- The signup and quote flows have not been assessed end to end for keyboard-only completion or for how clearly they report an error.
- Nobody who relies on assistive technology daily has tested this site with us. That is the gap we would most like to close.
Telling us about a barrier
If something here blocked you, we want to know, and you do not need to name the standard it breaks or work out the cause. Email support@cannagent.ai and tell us what you were trying to do and where it stopped. The page address and what you were browsing with both help, but send it even if you have neither.
There is no separate accessibility inbox yet — that address reaches the same small team that builds the product.
How this statement was prepared
Prepared on October 29, 2026 by self-assessment: automated testing, inspection of the served markup and the deployed stylesheet, and contrast computed arithmetically against the colours actually rendered. It will be revised when something on the measured list changes, and the conformance statement above will not be promoted without an audit behind it.
